About Jordan Pleitz
Otolaryngologist Dr. Jordan Pleitz is currently based in Texas, where he treats patients at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Round Rock. He graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University, where he earned a BA in biology. At the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, where he studied medicine, he belonged to Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. He then completed his residency at the University of Kentucky’s otolaryngology department. Dr. Jordan Pleitz is certified with the American Board of Otolaryngology and passed all three steps of the USMLE examination. Dr. Pleitz stays current on continuing education and has attended courses such as an endoscopic middle ear surgery dissection course at Vanderbilt University and a Keller Lectureship in surgical neuroanatomy and research at the University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Jordan Pleitz’s areas of professional interest and research include pediatric ear, nose, and throat conditions, swallowing and voice disorders, hearing loss, and head and neck cancer surgery. He has four scientific publications, all available on PubMed, and he has given more than 16 presentations since 2011, including one on the treatment of sudden hearing loss. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Pleitz also teaches at Texas A&M Health Sciences Center, where he is a clinical assistant professor of surgery.
